The Firerock Lounge looking for its next superstar General Manager to lead the team. If you have a passion for high end cocktails, in an intimate environment this is the job for you!

The Firerock Lounge is one of Whistler’s hidden gems, a classy intimate cocktail bar, complete with the best patio in Whistler for the Summer time. We pride ourselves in 5* guest experience, the town’s best cocktails, and the happiest team around.

Your team will be a part of the engine that places all potential guests into our Gibbons Wheel and guiding the company towards profitability and long-term success with a key focus on driving revenue.

Who are we?

Gibbons Hospitality Group runs legendary après bars and venues in the mountain town of Whistler; The Longhorn Saloon, Buffalo Bill’s Garfinkel’s, and Tapley’s Neighborhood Pub to name a few. Core responsibilities include:

Have your finger on the pulse of ongoing trends in the community, and build strong connections with influential community partners

Hit venue critical number (Hook-Ups), ensure Hook Up completion

Seasonal Cocktail Menu curation

Maintain and build the relationship with the Westin Hotel, and Grill & Vine Restaurant

Quarterly Marketing & Event execution

Full sales & product knowledge

Schedule, manage and train your team to complete successful programming

Shift inventory to ensure the business is set up for success the following shift

Attend weekly Manager Rhythms with the senior leadership team

Hitting and reporting on weekly metrics

Required:

Marketing/Sales/Hospitality background

Experience leading teams successfully

Strong Process skills

Administration skills and experience

Attention to detail

Flexibility and adaptability

Strong communication skills
