Complex General Manager

The Dorian will be two Marriott-branded hotels in one beautiful tower. The upper-portion, the Autograph Collection, will blend modern luxury with British whimsy and local flavour, including Calgary’s first 27th floor lobby complete with resto-lounge and rooftop patio. The lower-portion, Courtyard by Marriott, will cater to sophisticated urban adventurers and business professionals seeking more for their travel dollars. Candidates should have the following:
Urban, luxury or lifestyle experience.

Minimum 5 years of Full Service Hotel Experience, with strong skills in F&B.

Ability to manage, drive and lead a team of department heads.

Local market knowledge preferred.

Proven track record of revenue and market share improvements/results.

Excellent ability to network in a city through relationships and serving as face of hotel.

Interest in joining a very progressive company.

Out-of-the box thinking and creativity in providing memorable service to our guests.

Superior profit driving skills and ability to manage a budget and control costs.

Prior opening experience.

Salary Range: $132,597 – $165,746
