Are you a self-starter that is passionate about sales and driving business growth with new customers? Are you enthusiastic about B2B sales? In this role, you will be an integral part of the Eastern Wholesale Sales team and you will grow fleet sales in the GTA & Southwestern Ontario area through our Petro-Canada sales channels. You will grow sales by selling the value of our SuperPass commercial fleet program as well as our other fuel products such as bulk fuel, on-site refueling, and diesel exhaust fluid.

You will use your expertise to:
Develop and execute on sales plans to capitalize on market opportunities, and implement tactics to grow the Fleet portfolio and achieve key performance measures

Generate new business opportunities to achieve sales, by following the sales funnel process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, identifying customer needs, negotiating, and closing opportunities

Follow through on sales leads provided from various sources to secure new business, while satisfying clients’ fleet needs

Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients

Follow disciplined sales management practices utilizing our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

Develop positive relationships across the sales team, supporting functions and our operations teams by sharing ideas and fostering team building with diverse groups

Work collaboratively with our Marketer (distributor) network to drive sales growth

We’d like to review your application if you have…

Must-haves (minimum requirements):
Five years of commercial sales or account management experience

A post-secondary education

A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Demonstrated familiarity with industries such as fleet, transportation, construction, manufacturing, trucking, government and/or a relevant field

Negotiating skills to influence decisions while building positive relationships

The ability to work effectively in a team environment

Sound problem solving and decision-making skills with a strong non-authoritative leadership approach

Preference for:
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and/or SAP knowledge

Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

You will work out of our Oakville office, located at 3275 Rebecca Street

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs

Significant vehicle travel within your territory is required (minimal overnights)

A company vehicle will be provided
