Primary Purpose:
The Academic Quality Assurance Coordinator provides academic oversight and continual quality improvement in the delivery of program reviews, implementation and compliance. The Coordinator will implement and deliver on policies and procedures related to academic quality assurance by engaging in effective program curriculum review and renewal processes. The Coordinator supports the College’s digital transformation strategy across the curriculum and ensuring the college is prepared for audits, including the College Quality Assurance Audit Process (CQAAP), related to external public sector partnerships and Ministry renewals.
The Academic Quality Assurance Coordinator will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the ongoing review of existing programs to reflect changing technology, economic and market influences and employment opportunities according to current industry standards and Ministry approval criteria.
- Ensures provincial and institutional data related to program quality and performance are collected and analysed in order to support College strategic planning and decision-making processes
- Provide timely reports to the Academic Program Manager on the status of Program Reviews.
- Responsible for the program review process including updates to the annual review process schedule/cycle.
- Actively respond to any questions related to a program review in progress.
- Actively respond to any program modifications or enhancements resulting from third-party suppliers or regulatory bodies on an as-needed basis (outside of the regular program review process).
- Ensure findings and recommendations from program review are communicated effectively to program faculty and other key stakeholders and effectively support the delivery of review recommendations.
- Assist with building the various program submission appendices for Ministerial review, including those associated with CQAAP.
- Support the Manager of Academic Development and Instructional Design, Academic Program Manager and Subject Matter Experts with the development and implementation of new programs.
- Maintain a clear and up-to-date roadmap of current and pending reviews, accreditation and re-submissions, including forecasted work plans/dates for each.
- Maintain a healthy relationship with the various regulatory and accrediting bodies affecting the college.
- Maintain positive relationships with industry associations that influence our programs in conjunction with the Vice-President, Academic, other Academic Services Managers, IT/Facilities, and Faculty Heads.
- Support the Project Manager and Manager, Academic Development and Instructional Design, on projects supporting program quality within our management tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary education.
- Two (2) years’ experience in a comparable educational environment
- In-depth knowledge of adult education principles.
- Strong prioritization and interpersonal skills to balance multiple demands.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
- Knowledge of the operations of a Private Career College within Ontario, New Brunswick, or Nova Scotia would be considered an asset.
- Understanding of project management concepts
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and personal credit card are required.

This is a full-time position, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.

This position will be working remotely and must have reliable internet and a home office set-up.
When we return to the office, the position will be located in Mississauga in our Campus Support Centre.
