This is a full/part time 9 to 5, Monday-Friday position, checking in at our physical location, but most work can be done remotely. Full time for the right candidate. Must be proficient in Eng/Fre.
Meet the ERA, Electronic Recycling Association, a non-profit computer recycling organization with a team of more than 100 employees across the country who all share the same purpose: to help Canadians gain access to much needed essential technology all while supporting community groups, charities and other non-profits.
We are looking to hire an Account Executive with a “Hunter” mentality responsible for initiating contact with potential clients to generate and qualify leads, promote the company’s services and identify sales opportunities through relationship building and qualifying new business. The selected candidate will be a hunter who aggressively pursues new leads to develop new accounts to promote the ERA as the vendor of choice.
The candidate must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and proven track record of producing real opportunities leading to increased ROI.
Prospecting is at the heart of this role. Your mission is to increase the company’s revenue with new business to become an essential part of the sales force. Must be proficient in SalesForce, Data Management, Excel, Powerpoint, WebEx, Zoom with a post secondary degree in Business or Marketing preferred. If you have a proven, displayable track record of producing year over year growth $MM then we would like to hear from you.

Activities are to include:
- Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
- Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
- Report on sales activity (daily is ideal for accuracy)
- Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions
- Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes
- Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies
- Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
- Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, opportunities to deliver greater value to customers
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
Tasks are to include the following:
- Prospect daily
- Identify potential new customers
- Connect with key decision-makers
- Get meetings with prospects
- Qualify new business opportunities
- Present unique opportunities to work with Management
