We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our highly motivated sales team. Our team takes pride in growing customer relationships, running strategic sales cycles, and delivering our value proposition to a diverse base of accounts. You’ll partner with our Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive long term customer success, improve feature adoption, develop reference-able customer stories, and grow accounts with referrals.
Our Account Managers don’t focus solely on retaining customers; they’re curious about where they come from and where they want to go. If you’ve been successful in B2B sales, thrive on negotiation, and are a passionate customer advocate, we’d love to hear from you!
Salary: 95,000 – 115,000 OTE CAD
We’re based in Canada and can directly hire folks with a Canadian SIN who currently live in Canada. If you’re based in the United States we can work with you as a contractor, and we encourage you to check out our US posting.
The majority of our working hours are currently based in the Pacific time zone, and we ask that you are able to have some overlap with us – both for meetings and for connection.
In The First 3 Months, You’ll…
- Learn and become an expert in Sendwithus customer usage and contracting
- Execute renewal and subscription conversions
- Build relationships with current customers and take over the client portfolio from the current Account Manager
- Create a strategy around up-selling through regular customer check-ins
- Be in charge of communicating important product and feature announcements to enterprise customers
- Run account health checks and proactively help customers get better at using the product
- Appropriately triage customer requests (e.g. technical support vs customer success)
- Begin building account action plans to help define appropriate expansion strategies
In The First 12 Months, You’ll…
- Continually aggregate and provide customer feedback to the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
- Strengthen customer relationships to grow revenue and reduce churn
- Create strategies and processes to correctly identify enterprise upgrade opportunities from existing self-serve customer base
- Demonstrate account ownership and be seeking organic growth opportunities
- Work with clients to leverage their networks for referrals to new teams or new accounts
- Plan and execute Customer tours to generate focused customer feedback for the Product, Customer Success, Marketing and Sales Teams
- Regularly schedule and lead customer meetings & QBRs
- Keep up with industry news and be proactively sharing it with the larger team and your customers
