Admissions Representative (Education Consultant) – Kitchener

triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. is actively seeking a dynamic sales individual to join our team as an Admissions Representative (Education Consultant) at our Kitchener Campus.

Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to recruit, qualify and enroll new students into our college programs. This will be done by telephone and email prospecting through contact and follow-up with potential students; recruiting new students through regular and ongoing outreach activities; interviewing and testing applicants using the triOS pre-screening and sales process; establishing and maintaining rapport with the student body and staff to promote referrals. You will also be required to maintain regular data entry in the college administration system.

The Admissions Representative (Education Consultant) will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 (OSSD or equivalent) is required.
  • Minimum two (2) year of experience in a sales related position or occupation.
  • Two (2) years demonstrated experience and proven success in customer service, presentations and public speaking is required.
  • Prior experience in a sales position in the Private Career College industry would be preferred.
  • Formal training in MS Office (especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and contact management software is required.
  • Experience working with online communication tools such as MS Teams is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Access to a home work space and reliable internet and phone service is required to support working remotely as needed.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle

Hours of Work:
This position is a permanent full-time opportunity. Hours of work will be 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Work Location:
Initially this position will be remote and will require the successful candidate to have a suitable work from home location. Access to reliable internet, phone service, and computer equipment is required.

At a point in future, we do expect that this position will return to working physically from the Kitchener campus.

Start Date:
The scheduled start date is immediate.
