The opportunity

We are seeking a Policy Analyst to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.

As a Policy Analyst, you will play an integral role in ensuring timely and accurate advice is provided to our clients. You will be involved in the evaluation and improvement of our work processes in order to strengthen efficiency and quality of the services we provide. A strong team player, you will be a part of a close knit, dedicated team of professionals who work collaboratively to deliver on commitments.

We are looking for an individual who consistently demonstrates curiosity and initiative. You are a critical thinker by nature with strong writing skills and the confidence to provide options and recommendations.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

A Degree in a related field such as public administration, business administration, law, economics or social sciences and a minimum of one year of related experience*; OR a Diploma/Certificate in a related field and three years of related experience*; OR an equivalent combination of education and training and five years of related experience*may be considered.

  • Related experience must include:

Interpreting, researching, and analyzing issues, or legislation and policies;

Developing and providing options and recommendations to enable decisions; and

Experience developing, managing and/or monitoring programs or projects.

Nice to have

Preference may be given to applicants with one or more of the following:

Experience in pension administration; and

Experience with statistical and qualitative analysis.
