This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission and reports directly to the President and Senior VP.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the sales effort by growing and maintaining a profitable book of business.
Building a team and managing overall operations of the branch.
Negotiating contracts and rate agreements with new and existing clients.
Reviewing financial reports / P&L.
Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and carriers.
Identifying new opportunities and setting the strategic direction for the branch.
Requirements
5-10+ years of third-party logistics (3PL) / truckload brokerage sales experience.
Strong leadership experience.
Self-motivated, with a strong desire to exceed expectations with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
