Casual Research Assistant (Linnea Munro)

The Child Phonology Lab is seeking a casual undergraduate research assistant to work with our team of students in the NSERC funded project entitled “Learning Mechanisms in Early Vocal Development.” The RA will collaborate with the team to help develop a simple software tool to present foreign-language speech stimuli to toddlers in an engaging context while also helping to recruit toddlers and instruct their mothers to play with their toddlers at home using the electronic book. Tasks may include developing audio and visual stimuli and animations in collaboration with an illustrator, modifying software to present the stimuli in collaboration with a software developer, and testing the software tool with babies and mothers.

Hourly Salary:
$17.50
