Position Description
The Nicotine Dependence Service at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking an extremely organized individual with previous research experience to join our team. Reporting to the Project Manager, and working in close collaboration with knowledge translation and education team members, your primary assignments will be the operational and administrative support for the TEACH Project https://www.nicotinedependenceclinic.com/en/teach.
Main responsibilities of this role will include the management of the project inbox, tracking participants across courses and or certificate program, data functions (inputting and checking data), and updating course materials using the Moodle Learning Management System platform. You will also support the TEACH Educational Rounds webinar series, including marketing, AV support, webinar administration, and participant tracking. The CH&E Assistant will also prepare letters of completion for program participants, and will provide support with accreditation activities. Other duties include participating in planning meetings and providing support to other team members on other projects as required. You must be able to work independently and effectively in an interprofessional team environment. You will support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. This position is located at 1025 Queen Street West.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree, with a background in education, psychology, or health sciences, combined with one to two years of related experience. Experience using online learning management systems is required; familiarity with the Moodle Learning Management System is preferred. Computer skills required include: word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets and database management. Knowledge and experience in working with virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., WebEx) is also an asset. Demonstrated ability to work with clients of diverse backgrounds is necessary. You will have the ability to work effectively with a diverse population and within a dynamic team environment. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
Please Note: This full-time, contract (until March 31, 2022) position is part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit.
Salary Range: $26.57 – $32.75 per hour
