Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the LaHave River Credit Union including all aspects of credit union operations and procedures. Leading, overseeing, and managing the delivery of services as well as implementing and contributing to the vision of LaHave River Credit Union is the CEO’s top priority.
As CEO, you will inspire, action, and champion initiatives to achieve goals outlined by the Board of Directors. You are a confident and seasoned leader and are not afraid to make a decision and stand behind it. As LaHave River Credit Union’s key spokesperson and advocate, you play an important external role, building relations with owners, system partners, the provincial and national Credit Union System, community groups, the media, government, and the public.
As the ideal candidate you have a wealth of experience leading people, developing culture, and strategy. You have 10+ years of progressive senior management experience, fully developed business acumen and are ready to step into this key role. You have a successful track record and expertise in identifying and driving value in an organization, as well as a reputation for being a trusted leader who fosters organizational improvement and success. Your advanced knowledge of the financial sector has prepared you to lead LaHave River Credit Union to even greater success. You are accountable for all operations and business planning; you ensure the organization operates in a financially sound and sustainable manner while continually enhancing owner value and corporate performance. You are a proven leader who is all substance over flash. Energy, integrity, passion, vision, and humility are all trademarks of your leadership. You are skilled at communicating your vision, building consensus, and executing on that vision. You foster a culture of customer service, establishing and building trust, and you are ready to lead a successful Credit Union.
