Stella’s Circle is seeking a dynamic and passionate Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who is a venerable social justice leader and changemaker. Appointed by and reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will manage the operations of the organization and also serve as CEO of the Stella’s Circle Foundation. You will oversee the management of the three lines of business of the organization: Real Homes, Real Help, and Real Work, and work to achieve the strategic goals established by the Board within its established mandate, policies, and budget. You will provide executive leadership and management of the organization’s strategic plan, administration, and programs and services, playing a vital role in assuring Stella’s Circle’s ongoing success. As the public face and lead spokesperson of Stella’s Circle, the CEO will enhance its profile within the community, advocate on its behalf, help expand upon its fund development capabilities, and make a significant contribution to its long-term success by maintaining a passionate commitment to the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
As the ideal candidate, you have a degree in business, health or social services, or community development, as well as at least 7-10 years of senior management experience, or an equivalent education / experience record. A graduate degree is considered an asset.
You are highly strategic, business minded, and financially astute and you have a demonstrated track record in stakeholder, government and community relations, as well as fund development. You are an empowering energizing team builder and leader with a proven ability to assess and enhance operational, financial and administrative effectiveness, to implement and oversee key performance measurements, and to consistently identify opportunities for improving services and operation. You have superior communication and interpersonal skills, and you are a partnership-based, approachable, and inclusive leader who is highly compassionate, empathetic, open minded, flexible, and committed to teaching and coaching.
