Falcon Beach School is a Nursery to Grade 10 school with approximately 40 students. The newly built

school is located in Falcon Beach, Manitoba, which is approximately 120 km east of Winnipeg. The

community has many outdoor enthusiasts as it offers access to a wide variety of outdoor activities, including

excellent fishing, hiking and one of the best 18-hole golf courses in the province. The school offers a variety

of outdoor and athletic programming to their students.

Courses to be taught include but are not limited to Grade 1-6 English Language Arts, High School Science,

High School Social Studies and Nursery/Kindergarten.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education Degree
• Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
• A sound knowledge of provincial curricula
• Previous teaching experience
• Previous High School Science/Social Studies teaching experience
• Strong classroom management skills
• Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life
• Experience working with students with unique needs
• A commitment to differentiated instruction
• A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices
• A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn
• Self-motivated
