Description
The purpose of the expectation on task list is to identify and clarify what management expects from the incumbent. The following expectations and tasks will be part of the annual performance appraisals; your merit increase will be based on the level of performance in each of the following areas.
Expectations may change year to year and both parties should use the annual performance appraisal to determine realistic and equitable goals and outcomes for the upcoming performance year.
HOURS:
- 30 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Intake & Assessment
- Conducts initial intake determining needs and support required by the client
- Enters all information into Link 2 Feed computer program
- Maintains confidentiality, keeps accurate client files and statistics
Spiritual Care
- Provides guidance and prayer with client
- Shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the client
- Shares ministry unit events, worship services, etc. with clients
Emergency Assistance
- Distributes clothing vouchers, food hampers, for immediate need
- Refers housing, social services, resources in the community to clients
- Responsible for the Hamper Room: organize the room, update stock, food hamper distribution, etc
Administration
- Organize & registers clients for Summer Camp programs
- Prepare laminated client cards for the food distribution program
- WEDNESDAY ONLY enters daily food distribution list updates
- Preparing signs for events/closures when needed
- Vacation coverage as required
- School Supplies / Backpack programmed
- Interview potential recipients
- Prepares and distributes backpacks/school supplies
- Enters stats into Link2Feed
Christmas Bureau
- Intake and registration of clients
- Enters data into Link2Feed
- The whole operation of Christmas Bureau: Intake and registration of clients, enters data into L2F, toys distribution, etc.
Income Tax Preparation
- Assist in registering clients for appointments
- Enters data into Link2Feed
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Certifications:
- The successful job applicant will have completed High School, plus specialized courses of up to six (6) months.
- Current Certification in First Aid/CPR
Experience:
- One year but less than three years of prior related experience, including, experience working with multibarrier persons.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Attentive listening (intake/guidance to clients), and occasional computer work.
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
- Background check consent
- A clear vulnerable sector screening
- A clean driver abstract
- Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training
