Continuing Education – HWDSB – Site Coordinator
Location: Parkway Learning Centre – 140 Centennial Parkway North
Position Start Date: August 30th, 2021
Assignment Details: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:00pm
Rate of Pay: $20.71 per hour
Conditions: This position is an Annual Contract
Reporting to the ESL and LINC Coordinator and Principal of Continuing Education Continuing Education HWDSB is seeking a Site Coordinator for the Parkway Learning Centre. Site Coordinators support staff and students in our Adult ESL program.
Duties include greeting and assisting students, visitors and staff, answering correspondence; both phone and email, registration of students, attendance duties, reconciliation of cash, debit and on-line payments, meet health and safety requirements, open and close the school, monitor the physical premises and follow up with property maintenance plus light cleaning
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Customer service attitude
- Ability to interact and serve a diversity of cultures and ages within the student population
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office including MSWORD and MS Excel
- Good working knowledge of SharePoint communication software
- Good working knowledge of shared documents such as OneDrive
- Comfortable using databases, web-based software and information programs
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- High School diploma required, post-secondary education an asset
