The Human Resource Services Branch at Yukon Department of Education consists of a group of dedicated staff members who work very closely as a team and in support of one another. We take pride in our ability to deliver excellent customer service to all our clients and business partners. This position is responsible for providing a varied range of human resource support functions for recruitment, orientation, position management, pay administration and benefit support to those employed through the Education Act. We are looking for a service and team oriented professional with strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Essential Qualifications

Commitment to continuous learning, that demonstrates development of analytical and/or strategic thinking. (Please demonstrate in your resume how you have developed yourself personally and professionally, including any formal education completed including the date of completion and the duration of the program or course);
Recent experience providing solutions in a client service oriented role;
Experience providing facilitation and expertise of a standardized process where you are required to uphold transparency, defensibility and equity;
Experience providing professional advice to management, including developing recommendations and implementing solutions and strategies.
Candidates who have a combination of training or experience equivalent to the qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Additional Information:
Job Requirements: Occasional travel within Yukon and a Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
