Cloudera’s Country Manager for Canada will be responsible for leading a top performing team of Strategic Account Executives, setting team objectives, coaching, providing feedback, working with them through issues and assisting them in navigating through their job functions and deliverables. Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Can manage performance issues to a successful conclusion. Work within and outside of departments to execute on company objectives. Comfortable providing feedback to employees and supporting their skill and career development. In this role, you will…
Lead and manage a team of 5-7 high performing Strategic Account Executives
Drive department objectives and break those down to employee specific activities and deliverables
Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
Meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions..
Maintain and expand the customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need…
10+ years of sales experience selling enterprise software
3+ years of sales management experience
A drive and commitment to succeed in small fast growing environments (i.e. Resource constrained)
Experience motivating team members
Demonstrated experience in exceeding quota
Expertise in selling complex products
Excellent presentation , written and verbal communication skills
