About the Opportunity
We are looking for an intern with a keen interest in environmental science and technology to work with our Customer Success team and customers using Aquatic Informatics products. This position is a 4 or 8-month term based in Vancouver, BC.
The successful candidate will gain experience by working on content management of our water quality and compliance knowledge base, and identification of industry trends through analysis of issues and creation of reports from our support portal. This position will develop prioritization and triaging skills of issues raised by customers and ensure our customers are successful in their business needs.
This will include but is not limited to:
Review, edit and create knowledge base articles to ensure customer success.
Standardize the formatting of all knowledge base articles.
Initial triage of calls, emails and support portal tickets, and escalate as needed.
Customer outreach and relationship building built on trust and success.
Analyze historic support tickets, generate reports and identify trends.
Create reports using 3rd party application and export data via API.
Assist implementation teams with configurations/installations.
Collaborate with other support representatives to identify customers’ business use cases.

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
Strong consideration is given to students with a focus or minor in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Water / Wastewater Engineering, Business Technology Management, Communication & Marketing, or related field.
Experience/Skills
Interest and passion for environmental, drinking and wastewater compliance.
Aptitude for technology and able to quickly learn new software.
Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
Customer-facing / service industry experience.
Highly organized.
Assets
Knowledge of water, wastewater, or industrial pretreatment (source control).
Strong consideration is given to applicants with scripting and database skills (Powershell, API, SQL).
