Description
To provide leadership in the daily activities of our day camp program, ensuring that children are included in all activities.
This is a temporary full-time position, Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm (may require flexibility) from June 28 – August 17, 2021.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with implementation of a weekly summer day camp program targeted at children ages 6–11 with a holistic approach, giving opportunity for social, emotional, physical and spiritual development.
- Supervises and oversees group of 10-12 children with a coworker.
- Follows directions of supervising staff.
- Interacts broadly with congregation members, community partners and neighborhood families.
- Assists with camp clean up at the end of each camp.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed at least one year of High School and be between the ages of 15-30.
- Successful obtainment of the Criminal Record Check clearance through the Criminal Records Review Program.
- Successful obtainment of clearance through Manitoba Child Abuse Registry.
PREFERRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES:
- Prior experience working with children and activity planning will be an asset.
