- Hire, train, retain and reward skilled accounting staff.
- Coach and mentor team including developing measurable goals to strive for continual improvement.
- Lead acquisition integrations including formulating integration strategy, ERP system conversions and accounting policy convergence.
- Coordinating activities of external auditors including supervising and participating in preparing auditing materials, required analyses of supporting documents.
- Provide value-add to the business by pro-active problem solving and timely communication.
- Support, administer and at times drive the implementation of various system upgrades and or changes.
Required Experience:
- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
- Exceptional business acumen and understanding.
- Proven track record for improving process efficiencies.
- Must demonstrate the ability to think critically and solve problems in a timely manner.
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate team members.
- Previous experience with and knowledge of internal controls, compliance and auditing.
- Understanding of finance best practices.
- Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively partner with internal clients and fellow colleagues of all levels.
- Good team player and ability to meet strict deadlines and deliver on commitments.
