At Fraser Health, we have a Director, Clinical Operations opportunity supporting community delivered care in the Mission and Abbotsford Area.

The Director, Clinical Operations provides leadership and direction on strategies, planning, design, implementation, delivery and assessment of assigned clinical department/service within or across a hospital or health services area, or, for a Regional Program across Fraser Health.

We are looking for a forward-thinking leader who will be accountable for the leadership of Home Support & Community Services in the Abbotsford and Mission area, as well as the Mission Community Health Services including Home Health.

You will provide leadership in creating and implementing new models of service in the community to optimize patient experience, provider effectiveness, and systems efficiency, including identifying service integration opportunities across the continuum of care and leveraging technology. As a strategic individual, you are responsible for budget allocations and accountability monitoring.

The role also includes oversight of two owned and operated long term care facilities, ensuring that residents receive excellent care while maximizing resources to ensure high standards of quality care and best practices are achieved.

Partner with physicians and clinical and support leaders as you play a key role in the system design, implementation and sustainability of clinical programs supporting the Fraser Health Strategic Operating Priorities.

This is your opportunity to:
Develop strategic and operational plans

Form partnerships within a network of Regional programs, centralized services, hospital sites and community health service areas.

Support operational leaders by removing barriers to the development of a culture of patient-centred care across the health care continuum.

We are looking for you to have:
Master’s level of education in a field related to health care management;

Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of progressively responsible leadership experience.

Your professional and technical capabilities will include:
Extensive knowledge of acute and community care services

Extensive knowledge of clinical operation and service planning for clinical, non-clinical and support services

Implementation of sophisticated system-wide projects that require collaboration with interdisciplinary groups

Proven track record to prioritize multiple requests and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

Demonstrated ability to problem solve, persuade, analyze and implement

Proven analytical, statistical, research and indicator development skills

This regular full time opportunity will be located out of Mission Memorial Hospital , located in Mission, BC.
