Director, Enterprise Automation & Digitization

What is the opportunity?

The Director, Enterprise Automation & Digitization is a core member of the Enterprise Automation & Digitization program, within the Enterprise Transformation & Capabilities team, who is responsible for jointly developing a re-imagined E2E view of processes, including anticipated impacts, benefits realization, performance improvements and data controls with a specific focus, utilizing a multi-lever approach to applying automation & digitization to current state processes. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring an enterprise view is applied to the development of all new capabilities, enabling new processes to be scaled across multiple businesses and functions with ease.

What will you do?

Engage and collaborate with SMEs and other cross-enterprise partners to understand current state and reimagine end to end processes, to drive an improved user

In-depth understanding of existing enterprise capabilities available across RBC as well as identifying new and emerging capabilities which we may want to consider for adoption

Work with business and functional partners to prioritize opportunities and understand benefit profiles for inclusion in annual planning exercises

Champion the vision for digital transformation within each journey, ensure that journey insights inform the transformational roadmap, and work closely with program

Collaborate with functional partners to identify and assess legal/privacy/risk implications for new and existing capability deployments

Collaborate with partners to assess and effectively integrate changes to roles, process, business volumes, etc., and to ensure benefits realization

Coordinate impacts within all applicable groups, including implementation and Day 2 considerations to successfully embed and sustain the change

Define opportunities to leverage digital capabilities to enable the roadmap and advocate for the use of reusable capabilities that are aligned to the target state architecture

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

5+ years of practical Business/Operations experience

Proven change leadership and change management skills

Strong stakeholder management, impact and influence, and relationship building skills

Aptitude to champion, engage and foster an Agile working culture

Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee and/or be involved in multiple work streams concurrently

High level of initiative, motivation and continuous improvement mindset

Nice-to-have

Experience in process re-engineering

Program management experience

Comfortable with ambiguity & uncertainty, takes ownership to figure things out
