In this role, you will lead and direct all activities related to the retention and growth of our Partner and Coverage Asset Owner Segment client base and achieve and maintain a premier provider status in the eyes of our clients.
What will you do?
Anchor clients (partner/coverage) and the associated revenues/profits; and, attract new revenue/profit streams, help anchor existing clients and attract new interest from prospective clients.
Identify upsell opportunities by researching and analyzing sales options
Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
Optimize commercial and contractual client engagement.
Be the commercial leader of and for the client
Support key optimization projects as required
Develop and practice commercial negotiation skills
Facilitate improved profit and reduced risk
Support standardization, automation and simplification
Demonstrate an effective risk culture through continuous adherence to RBC’s Risk Management Framework and Principles, Conduct of Business and Regulatory Requirements
Adopt the highest professional standards
Demonstrate and instill RBC’s behaviour expectations
Contribute and where relevant to your leadership/people manager role, ensure adequate Identify client decision makers, buying influences, coaches and centres of influence both within and outside target organizations and fully understand political landscape in client/prospect organization
Leverage key RBC Investor & Treasury Services (RBC I&TS) personnel throughout the relationship cycle to provide greater breadth and depth of connectivity
Gather critical information on the Client’s/prospects business profile, strategic priorities, business challenges and specific project requirements to support the development of a winning value proposition to retain and grow the clients business; and, establish ongoing relationship management strategy to effectively position RBC I&TS
Meet with client to explore for mutual value and test our value versus their value measures, as well as establish and evolve our value proposition specific to each prospective opportunity and existing relationship and ensure it is unique and differentiating
Quarterback the preparation and development of proposals and all client presentations. Own the strategy, key message creation and overall management and quality of the proposal and presentation in conjunction with Proposal management
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
