We are looking for a Director of Case Management to lead and manage our growing team of front-line case managers, who provide wraparound support to foster the success of our trainees.
Required Experience & Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing a team of case managers
-
5+ years of experience providing support for people who face multiple barriers
-
2+ years of project management training and/or experience
-
Post-secondary degree in Social Work, or Social Service Work (or combination of post-secondary studies and work experience).

Strong professional network of wraparound support service providers (e.g. housing, food security, legal system, newcomer/claimant support, childcare, etc.)
-
Trained in anti-oppressive and anti-racism practices
-
Strong crisis intervention/conflict management skills
-
Strong facilitation skills, particularly in working with disadvantaged community members

Proficient with Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Drive, with an emphasis on managing data on spreadsheets

Experience in employment programs / pre-apprenticeship training programs, an asset

Experience working within or managing a small business, an asset

Experience with Salesforce, an asset

Driver’s license and vehicle, an asset
Reporting to the COO, the Case Management Director will provide leadership to the case management team.

Lead and manage the Case Management team (comprised of case managers, career case managers, and alumni case managers) to fulfill long term and short term strategies that ensure participants are successful along their entire pathway.

Provide guidance, oversight, coaching, and case management debriefing to a team of case managers

Motivate and support staff in a changing environment

Conduct performance appraisals, provide developmental feedback and recommend opportunities for advancement, on-going learning of case managers and team

Define the team budget and develop and oversee case management team work plans.

Collaborate with COO in refining the system for long-term trainee outcomes, evaluation and evolution, by proposing changes to processes, policies and procedures

Collaborate with COO and Executive Director on grant writing and funding needs.

Collaborate with Program Director to divide program funding report responsibilities

Liaise with the Program Director to ensure program supports and training opportunities are meeting the needs of trainees

Liaise with the Social Enterprise Director to ensure transitions to Social Enterprise are smooth and trainees are succeeding and growing onsite

Develop a robust network of wraparound support partners across the city who can respond to the diverse needs of trainees (e.g. housing, child care, financial assistance, etc.)

Liaise with Human Resources Manager as needed

Represent the Case Management division within the executive team for weekly Directors meetings to help to lead the strategic vision and decisions of the organization.
