As a Director of Food & Beverage , you will strategically lead the team to take guest satisfaction to the next level. Repprting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the Food & Beverage Division, which includes perfromance of our 3 outlets as well as In-Room Dining Service, Refreshment Centre, Banquets, Kitchen and Stewarding operations. The successfu candidate must be the driver behind our food and beverage offerings and experience. Forming close relationships with the Executive Committee , you must be creative, dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate about food and beverage and people.

What you will be doing:
Plan and direct the hotel food and beverage operations
Ensure balance between between delivering excellenet guest service, maximizing profitability and supporting the development of all employees to their highest potential
Strong floor presence and visibility at all times
Participates actively at executive committee meetings, revenur management meetings and preparation and achievement of hotel business plan including operating budget, marketing and sales plan, capital budget as well as strategic plan
Development and accurancy of monthly, quaterly and annual financial outlook
Ensure highest guest service satisfaction
Develops menus, wine lists, promotions and standards of all food and beverage operations
Lookout for fodd and beverage trends to remain the leader in the industry
Ensure the smooth operations through the department managers
Involved in recruitment, training and development of employees
Key member of the the leadership and crisis management team
Other duties as required
Your experience and skills include:
5 to 7 years of progressive management experience in hotels, restaurants and bars operations management
Degree/diploma from a recognized Hotel and Restaurant Management Program
Excellent culinary and beverage knowledge
Familiarity with general accounting principles and policies
Ability to analyze data and trends and create strategies for improvment
Knowledge of the Silverwar system, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude
Innovative, creative and willing to take risks
Results oriented with flexibility and ability to work well under pressure
Bilingula in both official languages an asset
