Job Description
The world needs more Shopify. We give high growth, high volume merchants the scalability, reliability, and flexibility they need. We believe all merchants should love their commerce platform, and we work hard each day to make that happen.
The Revenue Partnership organization extends the scale and reach of Shopify’s commercial go-to-market teams by helping our merchants discover, choose, build, and grow on the platform.
We are looking for a leader for our Revenue Partnership teams to grow and scale our partner contributions. This leader will bring a global perspective to our growth and development, explore new revenue and go-to-market models, experiment with new relationships that aid our merchants, and support our global and regional teams.
You’ll be working on things like:
Providing strategic direction around product integrations with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and drive innovation through partners
Building new go-to-market models and leading the team that executes them
Building senior relationships with new types of partners and influencing how they think about the future of commerce
Working collaboratively with other parts of Shopify to build merchant value
Supporting the global mission and aspirations of Shopify through revenue Partnerships
Leveraging your understanding of commerce and technology to structure forward-thinking partnerships
Leading! Share your experience and wisdom to help lead the business, support your peers and inspire a high functioning team
Qualifications
Developing and executing business development and partnerships strategies
Running partnerships in the tech, commerce, or consulting industry in a leadership capacity
Building and managing a high performing global team
Extensive experience leading leaders and driving performance through them
Making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic and cross-functional environment
Thinking broadly about business problems and casting a solid vision that teams can rally around
Negotiating contracts well (win-win!)
Building new go-to-market business models (and failing at it too!)
SaaS experience is preferred
