About the role

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 CAD/year

Remote Work: Temporarily

As a key member of our team, you’ll be working within a fast-growing, fun technology company that provides an inspiring environment, a positive culture, and great people! This role directly impacts delivering leading-edge SaaS technology in the e-Commerce/payments/shipping sector for the North American market.

Working with the team at ShipTime & Paid Inc., the Director of Sales will be an energetic, goal-driven person with excellent communication skills. This role may often be challenging so you should be able to remain calm and polite in tough situations.

Your goal will be to manage the relationships with our partners, attract and build new partnership programs and manage a winning team to foster long-term relationships with clients and help grow our business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and coaching the sales team on process, the development and execution of sales plans and business development activities
  • Implementing a culture that motivates, inspires and is able to retain highly successful sales executives and account managers
  • Lead weekly group sales meetings to celebrate successes, set expectations, and address challenges
  • 1 on 1 goal setting and expectation management with accountability
  • Track sales executives and account managers performance against performance targets
  • Be a mentor to the team in all aspects of tools, training, and guidance
  • Managing national partnerships with key executives and work with other departments such as marketing on deliverables
  • Form new partnership programs
  • Work with marketing and IT to implement customer retention techniques

Qualifications:

  • Top candidates will be natural leaders. They will be over-achievers who are highly motivated and value the team over the individual. They will have a high level of personal integrity and respect. The ideal candidate will be committed to attaining the highest level of results
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years related experience
  • Leadership 3+ years
  • Proficiency in MS Office, various CRM platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (English / French (preferred))
