Now Brewing… director, Product Marketing

Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, June 1, 2021.

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

The Director of Product Marketing (DPM) is responsible for managing the success of our customer offering in all of our stores across Canada. This includes beverages, food, and the equipment that our partners use to help create Best Moments for our customers. The DPM is also responsible for the product development where applicable, forecasting, and pricing strategy models that support our business objectives. This leader will support a team of up to eight partners and will be also be part of Starbucks Canada’s high performing Extended Leadership Team (ELT).

As a Director of Product Marketing, you will…

Be responsible and make decisions to support the total Beverage & Food offering on our Company Operated & Licensed stores. This includes long term strategic planning that balance how we leverage the customer offering of the global Starbucks enterprise, and balancing it with insights that will drive investments in where Starbucks Canada will lead and innovate on behalf of the organization.

Leverage experience and category insights to that drive customer adoption and maximize average transaction per customer.

Lead and develop a dynamic team of Starbucks partners to achieve our customer objectives

We’d love to hear from people with:
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning combined with a passion for bringing those ideas and plans to life for our partners and customers.

Highly effective collaboration skills – the ability to work externally with vendors, motivate internal stakeholders, and inspire fellow partners with a focus on our customers.

An unbounded curiosity for mastering not just your own function, but for exploring and learning about other business functions, and leveraging those insights as a catalyst for success.

Different experiences and different points of view. You don’t have to have worked on Food offers in the past, but you have had experience in understanding the needs of customers, and the people (our partners) who deliver Best Moments every day.

We believe the most enriching careers begin one story at a time. Have the opportunity to share your story, it’s time for you #tobeapartner.
