Position Overview and Key Responsibilities:
A Director – Project Management will be responsible for leading the process definition and improvements that align projects to perform at maximum effectiveness. You will help structure and lead a team of highly specialized Project Managers. You will be counted upon to provide experience, expertise and thought leadership to this team. You will also drive commercial projects and enablement efforts through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders such as Restaurants, Marketing, Customer Support, Legal, Tech and others who own deliverables.

You will be an essential leader in driving the planning, scheduling, and coordination of cross-functional projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams, providing leadership and execution capabilities to ensure business units are able to deliver and sustain the full benefits of project management standards, methodologies, and best practices. While engaging internal stakeholders, your role is to lead, oversee and ensure effective project delivery and sustainable project benefits.

In addition, this person will bring an analytical capability that enables Skip to continually improve performance and drive new revenue growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Provides strong leadership, technical guidance, coaching, support and project oversight to Project Managers and project delivery teams.

Develops working relationships with stakeholders in a proactive and professional manner.

Participates in project meetings to provide guidance and direction to Project Management delivery teams and ensure appropriate strategic direction is set for each project plan.

Engages and interacts with Project Management delivery teams to develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets to ensure the highest quality of output in accordance to project requirements.

Monitor project reporting, both status and financial, to ensure all project activity is tracking to plan and all milestones are monitored within a risk management framework.

Resolve escalated issues in collaboration with stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure project milestones are maintained.

Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating direct reports. Provides input into hiring, terminating, compensation, and performance evaluation.

People We’re Looking For:
Post Secondary degree or diploma, preferably in project management, engineering, or business administration and a minimum of 10 years of related experience and/or training.

Experience and ability to manage, train, cultivate and motivate PM talent within a fast-paced and growing environment.

Excellent communication, collaboration, listening, presentation and writing skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience working in an agile development environment.
