Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced workplace strategist to join our growing national practice. This role will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of workplace consulting, coaching team members, and supporting business development. The activities include but are not limited to:

Leading a team to successfully deliver client-facing projects

Assisting in managing the team and revenue for the region

Developing written proposals and workplans

Facilitating senior level engagements and managing client relationships

Coaching and developing junior team members

Collaborating with other leaders within the organization

Guiding and reviewing all project deliverables to ensure consistency in quality

Demonstrating subject matter expertise for clients and partners

Developing strategic recommendations and building consensus with senior leaders

Developing change management strategies

Pursuing and participating in business development activities

Traveling to client sites (up to 20% at peak periods)

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a creative and motivated individual who is excited about the prospect of working with companies across all industries to create their customized workplace of the future. In addition, candidates should possess all of the following criteria:

12-15 years of credible, related work experience in the field of real estate, design or strategy consulting

Undergraduate degree required (graduate degree preferred)

In-depth knowledge of the field of workplace strategy

Leadership capabilities including conflict management and strong interpersonal skills

Strong client-service oriented work ethic

Team-oriented focus and attitude

Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously

Passion for strategic and creative problem solving

Strong quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail

Outstanding written and oral communication skills

Outstanding listening skills

Intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity and complex challenges

Ability to coach and teach others about the business

Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and distributed teams

Position Location

  • We are seeking candidates for our office in Toronto responsible for projects and clients in Eastern Canada.
