The opportunity
Manulife’s Wellness, Disability and Life Team is looking for a Case Manager in our Montreal office.
As a Case Manager you will have the privilege of supporting Plan Members through their health recovery and eventual return to work, providing financial support during a time in which the Plan Member cannot support themselves.
The role requires the ability to analyze and assess group disability contracts, agreements and medical information. It also requires the need to apply critical judgment to decide whether to issue disability payments or provide periods of support, as well as the ability to create goals and follow through on plans for recovery and return to work.
An ideal candidate will have:

The ability to make tough decisions within tight time constraints and demonstrate resilience
Be dedicated to doing the right thing
A university degree, healthcare background and/or related work experience
