Overview
Job Description
- Responsible for planning and execution of initiatives that contribute to achieving the organizational-wide diversity and inclusion strategy
- Partner with talent acquisition, talent management and other HR partners to embed D&I into the employee Lifecyle, drive innovation through developing programs, interventions and initiatives to increase diversity composition and inclusive leadership across the organization
- Coach and support the business to ensure inclusive practices
- Strengthen leadership capability around inclusion and diversity via multiple interventions including but not limited to workshops and training
- Determines the appropriateness of introducing inclusion and diversity initiatives and consider the unique needs of the organization
- Network internally and externally at events related to diversity and inclusion
- Propose programming ideas in collaboration with diversity, equity and inclusion team to expand initiatives to drive the diversity and inclusion agenda
- Promote visibility of diversity and inclusion initiatives internally and externally
- Partner with HR team ,Retail and Retail support centre (distribution centre) to ensure teams are aligned on priorities and supported
- Facilitate training and deliver presentations related to diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Develop and implement communication and messaging strategies/tactics
- Keep current on diversity programs and developments by maintaining contacts in field (e.g. professional associations, partners)
Job Requirements
Undergraduate degree and/or college diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum 8+ years experience in HR or Diveristy, Equity and Inclusion or combination of both
Experience influencing and supporting leaders with DE&I initiatives
Experiencing delivering corporate DE&I initiatives is an asset
