Nature of Position
There are two full-time positions available – one in Penticton and one in Oliver for dedicated, motivated Early Childhood Educators. The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate programs that meet the observed needs of the children and leading children in activities to stimulate and develop their intellectual, physical, and emotional growth.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have, at minimum, an Early Childhood Educator Certificate with current license to practice and previous childcare experience. Infant Toddler and/or Special Needs certification, valid First Aid Certificate, Class 4 Driver’s License and/or Food Safe certificate would be an asset.
Wages
ECE wage starts at $18.02/hour and is eligible for the ECE Wage Enhancement of $2.00/hour.
Eligible staff also receive company paid benefits and enrolment in the Municipal Pension Plan.

In Penticton, BC – Working between various OneSky childcare centres (Hand in Hand, Little Triumphs, Little Learners and Little Explorers)
In Oliver, BC – Working at two centres (Oliver High School Childcare and Tuc El Nuit Childcare)
