Position Purpose
Under the direction of the Program Manager, Education and Wellbeing, this position is responsible for planning, designing, developing, organizing, delivering and monitoring education programs consistent with provincial and departmental program applications and technologies; undertakes and participates in research, special projects and evaluation of practices and procedures for Long-Term Care and Seniors’ Services.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Successful completion of a College diploma/certificate in Adult Education and diploma/certificate from a healthcare discipline preferred; or a related discipline or equivalent approved combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a health care environment or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering adult education.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in instructional design, analysis, measurement and evaluative methods, facilitation and presentation skills.
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including communication, innovation, teamwork and collaboration, and personal ownership.
