Primary Function

The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) is seeking an Energy Finance Analyst for a contracted consultant role based in Canada. We are looking for an experienced financial professional with knowledge of the oil & gas energy sector in Canada. The consultant must also possess a commitment to IEEFA’s mission to accelerate the transition to a diverse, sustainable and profitable energy economy.

The Energy Finance Analyst produces written analysis and commentary on the oil and gas industry in Canada for IEEFA publications and formal submission to governmental bodies. Analysis focuses on market and policy factors affecting the industry regionally, alongside company holdings, finances, ownership, behavior and strategies, and capital structures.
