Events Manager

Education: Diploma or Degree

Compensation: Base Salary + Bonus

We are looking for a seasoned events manager to lead our trade show team. The ideal candidate must have a portfolio evident in past experience planning and managing medium to large trade shows.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to have direct contact with our vendors and suppliers at all levels. In addition, they will be required to:

Provide media information to the vendors

Source venues for retreat and trade shows

Plan and coordinate the all seminar types

Manage registration and subscription

Create and manage the event execution

Onsite coordination of the events

Skills/Experience

Previous experience managing trade shows

Great interpersonal communication skills;

Ability to build and sustain new relationships

Skilled in organizing multiple vendors

Skilled in strategic souring and negotiations

Well honed knowledge in information technology;

Personal accountability and strong work ethic;

Professional, able to interact with vendors/clients;

Positive, “can do” attitude
