About the Role

The Executive Director (ED) reports to the Board of Directors and holds overall responsibility for the successful leadership and management of the organization’s operations and implementation of the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors.

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the organization.

Lead the organization in a period of growth and transition.

Promote and guide organizational culture.

Define and establish key operational objectives.

Set and monitor organizational priorities.

Oversee the Senior Leadership Team.

Identifies issues and informs the Board of Directors on a regular basis.

Provides leadership in operational planning and analysis.

Working with appropriate personnel to establish and monitor financial targets.

Working with appropriate personnel to monitor budgets and expenditures.

Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in an organizational leadership role or an executive role.

10+ years’ experience within an agency and/or marketing environment.

Solid understanding of business planning processes and key business metrics to be achieved.

Experience managing complex marketing and fundraising initiatives, or equivalent demonstrated experience in complex initiatives.

Experience working directly with charities and/or faith-based organizations.

Strong working experience within a growing organization.
