JOB TITLE : MANAGER IN AGRICULTURE ( Farm Manager )
JOB TYPE : FULL TIME / PERMANENT ( all sort of shift work , , early mornings, weekends )
HOURS : 40 hours per week
WAGE RATE; 24.50 CAD HOURLY
WORK LOCATION : 6907 – 160 ST , SURREY BC V3S3V5
POSITION : 1
EDUCATION : HIGH SCHOOL/ degree preffered
EXPERIENCE : More then 3-5 years of experience in farming operations
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Permanent , Full-Time
LANGUAGE: English , basic knowledge (speak , read , write )
Type of farming : Fruit and Vegetable farming
Job Duties for MANAGER IN AGRICULTURE :
Manage overall farm operations, check all agriculture operations .
Co-ordinate with General farm workers and harvesting labourers
Supervise and harvest operations, manage operations. Cultivate crops, irrigate fields
Will be managing farm Operations, decide crop harvesting time, pruning time.
Additional Skills: Develop work schedules and establish procedures, maintain quality control and production records & train workers.
Hire and supervise farm workers , purchase farm machinery and other equipments
Work conditions & Physical capabilities : Fast paced environment , will be working indoor & outdoor .
Candidate should have an ability to handle all farming / Agriculture operations.
Determine the amount and kinds of crops to be grown
Organize and co-ordibate planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities:
Hire and Manage farm personel
Purchase farm Machinery, seed
Develop and Keep Financial Records
Essential Skills: Problem solving , decision making , critical thinking , significant use of memory , hardworking
