What is a Regional Manager?
The Regional Manager, is responsible for recruiting and mentoring General Managers who will develop and maintain a successful & profitable facility. The Regional Manager is also responsible for ongoing support and performance management of all Fit4Less General Managers within their assigned region. Additionally, Regional Managers are required to attend, support and generally oversee the opening of any new club within their region.

Job Summary:
Responsible for achieving the revenue & profitability targets for the region
Operate each club within budgets provided
Proactively manage controllable operating expenses such as staffing
Ensure all clubs within the region meet requirements related to cleanliness
Conduct weekly one-on-one General Manager development calls
Conduct a formal on-site visit once per month at each club within the region
Conduct monthly goal setting with General Managers
Lead General Manager meetings in accordance with the meeting schedule
Maintain a high level of communication and teamwork with all department heads, and Corporate Office support team
Ensure the sales basics and service systems are executed flawlessly
Complete performance reviews for General Managers and provide feedback
Attend new club openings where reasonable and as directed by manager
Ensure each new club is set-up according to company standards and all areas are ready when the doors open
Delegate work to the appropriate departments as required; follow-up to make sure tasks are being completed and are in-line with the club opening
Our Ideal Candidate:
Degree or Diploma in Business Management or Fitness
WHMIS, First Aid, CPR & AED Certification
Minimum 2 years as a General Manager in a fitness facility
Experience as a Cluster/Divisional Manager is a strong asset
2+ years in a management role
Proven success in leading, training and motivating teams
Success in exceeding individual and team goals
Exemplary leadership, written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
Superior influencing and coaching skills
Ability to mentor, problem solve, manage change and consistently act as a role model
Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with all levels of the organization
Proficiency in the use of computers for E-mail and Internet
Working Conditions:
Evening and weekend work required
Overtime can be expected
Standing or sitting for 5-8 hours continuously
Travel required to each Club location
Extended overnight travel may be required with each new Club opening
