POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the management team, the floor clerk plays a key role in the sales team. With good humour, courtesy, and kindness, they operate the cash registers and ensure impeccable customer service. They greet the customers and provide them with information on the products in the store. They take part in store merchandizing, including displaying, presenting, and labelling merchandise, as well as stocking and rotating merchandise. They help keep the store in good condition, and, where needed, help staff in other aisles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensuring the optimization of sorting activities (pricing, labelling, and marketing)
Stocktaking and rotating inventory
Operating the cash registers
Ensuring impeccable customer service
Taking part in workplace maintenance
Carrying out any other related tasks
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Secondary 5 diploma or equivalent
One year of relevant experience
Speed, attention to detail, and a sense of organization and observation
Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds (15 kg)
Willingness to vigorously support Renaissance’s integration mission and philosophy
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Open-mindedness, tolerance, acceptance, and respect for others
Capacity to adapt
Good sense and honesty
