Representing The Fairmont Banff Springs through excellence in guest service. Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Front Desk and Royal Service Night teams. Lead, teach, coach and inspire the supervisors and colleagues of the Front Desk and Royal Service while committing to helping the hotel become one of the world’s finest heritage resorts.

What you will be doing:
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

Lead, teach, coach, and inspire the Night Audit team to turn moments into memories

Empower colleagues to appease any guest service challenges and ensure all guest issues are tracked and followed up on to ensure service recovery

Participate in Front Desk and Night Audit mentorship program meeting with leaders in a 1 on 1 basis to foster their development as well as conducting regular performance evaluations

Responsible for team building and growth via, monthly meetings, training, colleague follow up and performance reviews

Fostering strong relationships with teams, departments and guests

Responsible for building a strong, effective overnight team that meet the AccorHotels values and standards

Active part of the Emergency Response team, working closely with hotel security team

Responsible for safety and security of all guests and colleagues in all emergencies

Responsible for daily night audit tasks, balancing, sorting of bills and accurate reports

Accurately posting all guest and group charges

Assisting with daily Front Desk procedures/tasks including check in’s and outs

Strong attention to detail, highly organized and able to meet time sensitive tasks

Ensuring courteous service to all guests and staff

Responsibility for daily time and attendance tracking for Front desk

Previous experience with relocates

Able to work effectively during high pressure and or sold out nights

Completing duty management responsibilities for the hotel

Passionate about ensuring guest satisfaction with a proven track record of problem resolution

Responsible for a cash float

Other duties as required

Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience is an asset

2 year experience in a Hotel Leadership role

Computer literacy required: PROPERTY manager or another property management system, Excel, Word, Time and Attendance, Watson, Royal Service

Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions at the same time

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Proven leadership skills which supports an environment of employee growth and development, interdepartmental teamwork and exceptional customer service

A leader who will lead, teach, inspire our team to reach the next level of service

High School diploma

Constant standing and walking throughout shift

Lifting-Under 20lbs 10% of Work Time

Carrying- Over 20lbs 10% of Work Time

Pulling- Over 20lbs 10% of Work Time
