Full Time Colony Teacher
Clearview Public Schools is accepting applications for a full time probationary teaching position at the Silver Spring Colony starting August 30, 2021. Located approximately 10 minutes southeast of Halkirk, Alberta on the Silver Spring Colony, this colony school has 14 students in grades 1 to 8.
We are looking for a self-directed and innovative individual to teach the Alberta curriculum in a multigraded, rural setting. The successful applicant will be a student focused teacher with experience in scaffolding activities and differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students. The successful applicant will also be responsible for providing leadership and effective plans for an educational assistant to meet the inclusive needs of a student in this school. Having knowledge about and working with the Collaborative Response Model is an asset.
Successful candidates will be required to provide a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and Intervention Record Check prior to employment commencing. Candidates selected for an interview will be required to supply three references that have agreed to be contacted at the time of the interview.
