We are currently seeking an adaptable, experienced, and successful country director as we expand our market into Canada. In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for the strategic direction and successful tactical execution of all aspects of sales and sale operations in Canada. Through managing your teams, you ensure that all company objectives are met, including the achievement of sales, customer experience, visual and brand execution. In order to succeed in this position, you need to be highly driven, have a passion for sustainable mobility, and a desire to build a business from the ground up.

The Role

Manage all operations of Lucid’s newly expanding retail organization taking responsibility for profit, revenue, and meeting sales targets <- thoughts??

Recruit and manage while maintaining the standards for identifying and developing talent, ensuring that Studio Managers and Sales employees are qualified and perform to company standards.

Provides feedback and facilitates training to support overall performance for new locations.

Conduct on-going research with a commitment to education and information gathering to stay on the forefront of the evolution on retail

Develop a regional marketing team and augment the demand creation generated by Corporate Marketing with cooperative and collaborative communication and between Leadership and Marketing teams

Collaborate with leadership to mobilize all appropriate strategies to effectively introduce the Lucid brand in Canada

Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development with the ability to create strategic and actionable presentations

Create strong partnerships with cross functional teams across the brand and develop new leads to expand existing demand

Ensures adherence to deadlines and budgets

Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing the Lucid brand identity

Provide leadership and direction to each Studio Manager (ß correct?) to create an environment that ensures customer satisfaction, maximum productivity, and profitability by translating and implementing developed business plans and brand strategies.

Your experience and background in luxury, technology or automotive sectors enables you to provide a unique perspective to fuel Lucid’s global growth.

Qualifications

Master’s degree, MBA or other relevant fields, strongly preferred

10 years or more experience in management.

Significant experience in the luxury, technology or automotive sector. Proven success in early-stage companies strongly preferred

Fluent in the language of the country

Exceptionally organized with excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to influence business partners at all levels of the business

Proven ability to plan and work independently while balancing shifting priorities and delivering on performance expectations.

Experience managing executive stakeholders and multiple business priorities in a rapidly growing and ambiguous organizational setting.

Proven ability to leverage data and build strategic business approaches that increase the company’s ROI.

Excellent decision-making ability

Servant Leader that relies on effective communication to inspire and motivate execution of all sales initiatives at the field level.

Advantageous

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; will require weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Ability to travel (approximately 50% or more) often with little advance notice as required (including air and overnight travel)

Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and software programs.

Operate office equipment and technology (i.e., computers, phones, copier, etc.)

Operate vehicles as needed.
