Grade 1 Teacher (Temporary)

At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Elementary School, faith and learning go hand in hand leading young people to be the best they can be. The school offers excellent academics in small class sizes from Kindergarten to Grade 7, while emphasizing Christian values in all our programs. Each student is supported to grow and develop to the best of his/her potential in
body, mind and spirit through enriching programs offered in a respectful and
nurturing environment. We are looking for a Grade 1 Teacher for the 2021-22 school year (Temporary coverage) to join our close-knit community of highly dedicated and innovative faith-filled educators.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:
Commitment to Catholic Education
Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish
Successful teaching experience, primary years
Ability to support students with exceptional needs through differentiated instruction
Ability to foster positive relationships with children and families, colleagues and administration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively
Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
