What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Food Manager, the Grocery Manager will provide leadership to the grocery team. The successful applicant shall be responsible for the following key areas:
Provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses and profits that support Swan Valley Co-op’s vision
Lead the grocery team in a manner that demonstrates day to day behaviours that align with and strengthen the Co-op vision, mission, values, and brand
Recruit, train, develop, coach, and motivate the grocery team while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results
Ensure standards of department presentation and operation are met including merchandising, inventory control and sanitation
Provide leadership in the area of asset protection and health & safety

Who you are:

You have applicable post-secondary education
You have previous retail management experience
