The Salvation Army’s Southview Heights and Terrace is a Senior Residence located in South Vancouver.
We are looking for staff that wish to work in a warm and loving environment.
Hours:
- Casual/On-Call from 8:00am – 8:30pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains the mission and philosophy of Southview Heights and Terrace.
- Answers routine enquiries about family visits.
- Facilitates family visits.
- Day of visit host will screen the visitor (ask questions/with temperature check), ensure visitor has mask on, hand wash or hand sanitize.
- Provide support to residents and family members during visitation, if required.
- Sanitizing high touch areas as per Pandemic Protocol.
- Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma
- A working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
PREFERRED SKILLS/capabilities:
- Excellent oral and communication in English
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read and implement work routines
- A heart and disposition for working with seniors
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, will be required to provide:
- Background check consent
- A clear vulnerable sector screening
- A TB Test
