The College is seeking hourly paid professors to join a dynamic team to teach High School remedial credited courses within Continuing Education for the 2021 Summer School Program. These courses will most likely need to be taught ONLINE using tools such as Microsoft Teams, ZOOM, Léa and Moodle.

201-014-RE Remedial Activities for Secondary Math (45 hours)
(June 28th to July 14th, 2021, Monday to Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
This course is designed for students who have not taken and passed the secondary V Mathematics course: Technical and Scientific Option. It concentrates on real-valued functions and solves problems involving equations, inequalities, equivalent figures, geometric vectors, and trigonometry.
201-015-RE Remedial Secondary V Mathematics Technical & Scientific (90 hours)
(June 28th to July 29th, 2021, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m to 12 p.m.)
This course is designed for students who have not taken and passed the Secondary V Mathematics: Technical and Scientific Option course. It concentrates on real-valued functions and solving problems involving equations, inequalities, equivalent figures, geometric vectors, and trigonometry.
201-016-RE Remedial Secondary IV Mathematics Technical and Scientific (75 hours)
(June 28th to July 23rd, 2021, Monday to Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
This course concentrates on various functions and their graphs, and teaches students to solve the corresponding equations for linear, quadratic and exponential functions. As well, students will review and expand their mathematical skills and knowledge in basic algebra, geometry and statistics.

SALARY (PER HOUR)
70.54$
ROLE SUMMARY
In a general way, the professor’s teaching load shall include: preparation of course outline; preparation of online classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching online classes, labs and fieldwork; adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students’ request and other activities when required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
A Master’s Degree in a related field would be considered an asset.
To have some teaching experience would be considered an asset.
