The School of Kinesiology invites applicants for four one-year Limited Term Faculty appointments (pending budgetary approval). The successful applicants will be expected to teach a total of seven (7) sections, including lectures and/or labs in the areas of Physical Literacy (KIN 121), Teaching Team Sport and Games (KIN 122), Introduction to Kinesiology (KIN 161), Basic Human Anatomy (KIN 170), Instructional Design and Analysis of Physical Education and Sport Programs (KIN 221), Sociocultural Aspects of Physical Activity and Sport (KIN 261), Human Physiology (KIN 272), Measurement and Evaluation in Physical Education (KIN 302), Health Programming Across the Lifespan (KIN 360), Exercise Physiology (KIN 163 & KIN 363), and other areas as needed by the department.
Duties of Limited Term faculty fall within Article 18.2 (Teaching Faculty Duties) of the Collective Agreement, specifically the Teaching and Service components.
Qualifications
The successful applicant must have a master’s degree or equivalent (PhD preferred) in the area of Kinesiology (or a similar field), with a strong record of undergraduate teaching excellence.
