The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science invites applications for a three-year Instructor term position. The appointment will commence as early as July 01, 2021, subject to budgetary approval. We are looking for a candidate with a proven ability to teach lower level courses in Statistics and Mathematics. The ability to teach Computer Science would be an asset. The successful candidate will have a M.Sc. in Mathematics or Statistics. Hiring salary will be in the range of $53,000-$63,000 per year. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science runs a well equipped Unix network, including undergraduate Linux machine laboratories, and has access to PC and Mac labs. The Department and University are student-focused, comprehensive (research intensive, with undergraduate and graduate student programming), and grounded in liberal education.
Teaching duties will include teaching classes, tutorials, and labs.
